Karen, David, Roger, Naomi, and precious kids, Please know that as you come up on this first anniversary, that you ALL continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Please take time as you are together this weekend to reflect back on the many special ways that you have honored Art and Gloria's memory over this past year. And "with thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel." (Philippians 4:6-7) That is my prayer for each one of you . . . a God-given peace during this milestone in your grieving. Much love, Tracey & Tommy McLarney

Dear Roger, Naomi, Karen, David and families,
We just want to let you know that we are think of you as the anniversary of your parents tragic death approaches. You may not remember us-we were the seminary family(with 5 kids) who often invaded your home on Sunday afternoons. (Roger-you somehow convinced our children that your name was Joe). Anyway, we loved your family and kept in touch with your parents for the past 25 or so years. The last time we say them was Feb. 2007 in Florida. We worshiped with them in Winter Haven and then spent the afternoon visiting, not knowing, of course, that we were seeing them for the last time on earth. What a comfort to know that we will see our love ones who die in Christ in Heaven some day. You are in our prayers!!
Love,
Don and Elaine

Dear Ones,

As the anniversary of your parents' homegoing approaches, know that you continue to be lifted up in prayer to our Faithful Jesus who is grieving with you. We look forward with you to a glorious reunion with them, when EVERY tear will be wiped away by our Lord's tender hand. Til then, lean hard on His mercies that are new every morning. With great love and admiration, Mary Suzanne and Fess Crockett

Dear Karen, David, and family:
We were so sadened to get the news of Art and Gloria. What a loss to the entire community of faith--Taylor, Berne, and all of us who knew and loved them.
We recall with special pleasure the leisurely visiting time in Florida as welll as the busy times of Board meetings and other Taylor activities.
We know that you can rest in the strong faith that they always exhibited. May God give ou His special comfort.
Love, Becky and •••• Stanislaw

David and Karen, and Roger and Naomi and families,
I am so sorry to hear about your parents. I am really happy that you have a website. I did not hear about your parents until someone told me in a Christmas card. By having all of this information, I feel like I was able to understand what happened. I hope that you will be able to focus on the legacy of your parents. What neat people they were. They also raised you to carry on their legacy. Both of your families sound like they touch so many lives. Even through your tragedy you have helped people. I love to hear how God sent an angel for you Karen and David, and protected you Roger and Naomi from seeing the accident. God is so good. We are praying for you! May God carry on His rich blessings upon your lives. Love you guys! Dave and Becky (Black) Moe

Dear Roger,
I was so happy to receive your card, then so saddened to hear about your tragedy and your families tragedy. What a tremendous loss.
I didn't know your parents personaly but knowing you and seeing your family grow each year thru your beautiful holiday cards I can only imagine what truely amazing, wonderful and giving people they were.
I personally know what its like to loose a parent and how difficult it is on a daily basis, but hopefully the beautiful memeories that you have of them will help you and your family through this difficult time.

May your lives be filled only with joy and happiness now and for the future. I hope and pray that there will no more sorrow.
May this year bring you and your family only good health, happiness and love.
My deepest sympathy to you all!
Fondly,
Anne Waldman Gober

Dear Karen, Roger and Families, It was so good to see you all at Centenary last weekend gathered together for an early Christmas holiday. And we appreciate so much the beautiful thank you card and personal note you sent to us recently. We have never been witness to a greater outpouring of love than with all the events and expressions we have seen and heard since the tragic death of your parents.

We continue to be amazed by His great love which shines so clearly through each and every photograph, video and word of tribute offered. And though great love brings great pain, we praise God you are living your lives forward in ways that are already allowing His love to abound all the more!

It was our great privilege and pleasure to have had a few minutes with your parents most every time they visited Centenary. We will continue to keep you all much in our thoughts and prayers... With our love in Christ, Alan and Sue

Roger, Karen and family....You're family has been transformed. We were all blessed by Art and Gloria. I'm sure you are grateful for your blessing of knowing them so intimately. About a week after I got home from my mother's funeral it was a note in the mail from your folks that comforted me so much. May the God of All continue to comfort each of you in ways far beyond our understanding.

Karen, my friend: I am so moved by the obvious love and close knittedness of a very down-to-earth family. I wish I could have known your parents but you are certainly a chip off the old block--so in a way, I *have* met them. Much love to you and your family.

David and Karen,

Thank you for opening your hearts for us joining you on this journey of celebrating the Lord as you celebrate your parents. You Karen, along with Roger and your entire family, are a legacy of love from your parents that we are blessed to have in our lives today- and for eternity!

Roger and Naomi, Karen and David, and families,

We love you all. What a precious and beautiful tribute you have designed to honor the lives and legacy of two special and MUCH loved people - Art and Gloria! Church steeples are designed to "beautifully point upward to God". We think Art and Gloria were "steeple people" extraodinaire! What an indelible impression their lives have made, pointing upward to God in every way for generations to come. Thank you for sharing the richness and splendor of Christ shining through the pages of your lives and family.

We love you!

Dwight and Dawn
